Liability

Skiing, snowboarding, and other related activities are hazardous and dangerous sports. Participation may lead to injury or death of yourselves or third parties. The customer must fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from such activities. Ride King accepts absolutely no liability for any such damages, injuries, deaths or other costs incurred as a result of such activities.

Making a Purchase

To make a purchase navigate through our store and add items of your choice to the shopping cart, making sure that you have selected the correct size as per our Helmet Sizing Guide. Once you have made your selections, click “Checkout” on the basket page in order to proceed to the checkout process. Here you must provide your personal details (contact details etc) before proceeding to Google Checkout to make your payment.

Ride King uses Google Checkout for processing payments. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has cleared. Google Checkout payments normally clear instantly.

Once payment has been received you will be notified that we have received your order. This does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and thus a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. This term is in place to protect us in the case of mispricing or if we are unable to supply a particular product for some reason. In either of these cases we will contact you to inform you of the situation.

Shipping & Delivery

We aim to ship orders on the same day you make it if it is received before 2.00 PM. Orders received after 2.00 PM may be posted on that day depending on our order load and other factors. Orders made between 2.00 PM on Friday and 2.00 PM on Monday will be posted on the Monday.

Free Postage is offered only on orders of over £60.00 GBP. Free Postage is by Royal Mail Standard Parcels (with additional compensation cover to insure your purchase against loss or damage). Royal Mail Standard Parcels are normally delivered in 3 working days after posting, including Saturdays. However, this is not guaranteed and can take longer. If you order is under £60.00 GBP, or if it is over £60.00 GBP but you would prefer to have your product delivered faster, then use our fast delivery service, Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day. This service is insured for up to £500. This service offers Online Tracking and is guaranteed for next day delivery by 1.00 PM. This guarantee is only applicable from the time and day it was posted, not when it was ordered. This term is for the small possibility of when there is a delay in our processing and postage of orders.

All claims against damage, loss or late delivery of your order must be taken up with the postage service provider, Royal Mail, not Ride King, although we may offer advice in how to deal with your claim. We will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery of your order.

It is the buyer's responsibility to notify us if their order has not been received within 21 days of the estimated delivery date or receipt of our invoice. If no notification is made within this time period the buyer shall be deemed to have received the goods.

Shipping costs displayed on this website only apply UK mainland. Shipping abroad is possible but you must contact us for a quote before placing an order.

Complaints

Ride King endeavours to handle any complaints fairly and competently. Complaints are best submitted by email on the Contact Us page.

Refunds & Cancellations

If there is a genuine fault with your product with the manufacture of your ordered product Ride King will provide a full refund less delivery costs incurred. The goods must remain complete, undamaged and in their original packaging. You must contact us, and we must confirm the return, before sending them back to us. A full refund will only be issued once the goods have been returned to us and inspected by us.

If we are unable to dispatch a product due to unavailability or for any other reason we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund any payment taken without obligation to fulfil your order.

Returns & Exchanges

If, despite having followed our Helmet Sizing Guidelines, you find that your purchased product does not fit properly, you have the following of options:

Exchange: You can return your product to us (having agreed it with us first and in a complete state with all its original packaging) to exchange it for another helmet the correct size which is available on our site. Exchanges are made at the discretion of Ride King’s employees and the customer will incur the additional delivery costs of any replacement.  All exchanges must be made within 14 days of your receipt of the item.

Cancellation: In the event that you change your mind about an item you can cancel your order. If you cancel your order before it is posted you will receive a full refund for your order including postage. If you notify us after postage you must return the item to us (unused, in its full state and original packaging) and will be charged 15% to restock any items, you will also be charged for postage costs incurred. All cancellations and returns must be made within 14 days of your receipt of the item.

Warranties

All product warranties are with their respective manufacturers and details of these warranties can be found in the product packaging.

Privacy Policy

Ride King is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalised shopping experience. No information collected by us on this site will be sold, rented or loaned except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy and consented to by you. We do not retain or store any of your card details.

Ride King uses other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf (such as postage and payment processing). These parties have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
